Had to make my own "rain" for this one. Welcome to the Challenge
And then it rained
Rain on my windshield
Rained so hard creatures started showing up in puddles.
Footprint puddles

Welcome, Judy. To bed for me very soon.
Hey Pat! Was out taking random pics of water drops the other day. Was actually focusing on the larger drops in the foreground. Didn't see the wonderful ones on the leaves until I downloaded. So that's why their not a crisp as I would like. Don't you just hate when you can't see the forest for the trees? haha Thanks for hosting. Hope to get a few more on here before Wednesday.

April is supposed to be the month of rain showers and not snow showers. Last week it finally rained so these are fresh-for-the-challenge images.
....
Put on your boots and raincoat, grab the camera and - shoot! More to come throughout the Challenge
Great start Pat, I'll be back. It's bed time now.
Thanks for a great start, Pat. I am still working my amaryllis. They are so beautiful, but of course they don't last, so I am making the best of it while I can. The rain theme is right on target. It has rained all weekend and is expected to rain all week through next weekend.

I don't have much for puddle pictures but high temperatures are forecast for today so I'm sure I will find some later. This first picture is of a puddle reflecting a bit of an early evening sunset was taken yesterday evening. But I do have a puddle story. The other day while standing by a puddle in my driveway, my mind decided to play word association games with me and the name |"Dr. Foster" popped into my mind. This didn't mean anything to me so I proceeded up the street.. and then these words" went to Gloucester", shouted to me in my mind.Hmmmm.. obviously a task for a google search: My search results found these words to an old English nursery rhyme:
"Doctor Foster
Went to Gloucester
In a shower of rain.
He stepped in a puddle
Right up to his middle
And never went there again!"
Apparently my mind was warning me to be wary of puddles as parents used to warn their children of the dangers of playing in puddles of unknown depths. After familiarizing myself with Dr. Foster and his mishap in puddles I found a little figurine of Dr. Foster in my nursery rhyme figurine collection and I have included his picture here.
I'll be back later with some puddles with ducks in them.

Boy, lovely views already! Had trouble viewing video on nat. geo. and digital school. Gave up for now. Slow then adds for tutorial? Probably my lack of technical know how? Maybe too many trying to see? Don't know...
Anyway I'll see what I have ..
