Beautiful. If you don't mind I'd love seeing the color version. Can you post it? Thanks.

Thanks Jimmy, really pleased you like it. I'll post the colour version in a short while.

Well composed image! The shadowing of the left side (and slightly on the right side) draws the eye to the bridge. Keep experimenting! ...and sharing. Thanks!!

I spent the afternoon on the South Bank and took a few long exposures. This is the Millennium Bridge over the Thames with St Paul's cathedral in the background. I decided I liked this in B&W. Try the download if you can.

Nice shot. We were there when it was new - and unusable. It was a combination of several elements that made it sway. I saw a very interesting study of this on TV.

Thank you Robert - I'm pleased you like it. You mention the shadowing on the left which someone else pointed out in a previous post. In a new post I have included a colour version of this shot together with the B&W but have tried to eliminate the shadow on the left.

Cheers Jerry, pleased you like it. Yes, the bridge had a few teething problems but it's a fine addition to have over the Thames.

Maybe I'll go back some day. We went in Feb one year and made reservations for the Eye before we left home - to avoid the lines. We were almost the only ones there that day. That's quite a structure.

I hope you do come back though February would not be my choice. Yesterday afternoon was just perfect - warm (20f), sunny and a wonderful spring feeling enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.
