Annoying? Arrogant?? Giver of wrong advice??? Sounds like he'd fit right in here at UHH.
IMHO of course.
Annoying, maybe. Outspoken, definitely.
Arrogant, maybe. Self-assured, definitely.
Giver of wrong advice, maybe. Opinionated, definitely (but he does practice what he preaches).
Fit in here at UHH? THAT would be exciting until the "real ex-spurts" took issue with his comments. Hmmm, I wonder why we don't hear from Roger Hicks anymore......

Short productions? Haven't you noticed that at least half of his videos are longer than an hour, some longer than two hours? When you watch somebody for an hour or two on repeated occasions, you get a genuine view of the person unless he is a trained actor.
Sorry, I was not clear! The 'short production' bit was a general comment. People do enjoy a bit of different approach/style interesting and eye-catching. That is what I meant. But, you are right, what can be interest-evoking, if repeated over and over again and for long durations does begin to get a bit on the nerves.
Fro is pretty cool, but there are times when he needs to cut it short with his rants.

His are seldom as long, and, at least, he recognizes them (Ranty MacRantersons) and gives us fair warning.

Yawn...
Nobody makes anybody go there. ;)
I learned more from Fro's video on my camera, than I learned about it here.
So stick that in your pipe and smoke it. :hunf:

Comes off as arrogant and disrespectful to his co-workers.

Anyone know where Fro is from, does he own a photo store, work at one or just a internet photo guy, for lack of a better term. Thanks p.s. i dig his hair
He is in Philadelphia and is a professional photographer, not just an Internet guy. I download all his videos including RAW Talk every week and have learned tons from him. Very down to earth and explains things very well. Oh, and he's very funny too.

The only other problem I have with him is language, but I guess I'm a bit old-fashioned.
And you have to love Postman Fro!
I think the problem we old guys have with language is not so much that we can't handle it or are prudes, I cuss up a storm sometimes, it's that we grew up in an era of heavily censored entertainment. If the word "damn" was uttered on tv, everyone was shocked. Now pretty much anything goes and it's still a bit shocking to us.
Oh and I love Postman Fro too, and his generic package.
One other thing, some are complaining about the length of some of his videos. Most of those are his weekly RAW Talks. They are more conversational between he and Steven and discuss all kinds of photo and tech subjects. They are not tutorials on a single subject, so are naturally much longer.
