ATTN: SX50HS camera owners

If you want to see what this camera is really capable of, I suggest look at Linda fromMaine's pics or an eye opener by Tony Britton at:
http://tonybritton.smugmug.com/Other/Canon-SX50-SOOC-Gallery/ especially if you were one that sent back your camera because it takes lousy pictures. All his pictures are straight out of the camera without any processing. We just have to learn how to use the camera, especially the lower button on the front. (Look it up).

Very nice of you to include me; but there are many others on UHH with amazing SX50 shots!

SHOOTR posted a topic on 2/26 re David Muench's photos in March issue of Outdoor Photographer magazine, taken with SX50 and a Lumix.

Linda, don't be modest. You have many excellent SX 50 images as does Angela_K. In fact, it was the images from both of you that made go out and hunt for one.
Thanks. I don't regret that purchase at all.

It was seeing images from people in this forum that made me sell my Sony A57 / 18-250 lens set up and buy a Canon XS 50 a month or so back. Once you get it in your head , it does not like doing low light photos ( as per my G15 ) it does a great job. Very satisfied. Course , I shoot mainly raw and process though LR4. Have not done a jpeg yet but, will try.

Ok, I have one and even went to the owners manual. What lower button on the front are you speaking about?

"lower button"- do you mean the framing button on the left side of lens? Helps locate a subject when zoomed in real far.

Unbelievable for such a small sensor. Got to get me one for my "long lens".
