I checked on one of mine.

It shows an ISO of 400.
But that has a shutter speed of 1/200 sec; and an f/25.

Personally, I like a little white on my moon. Looks more real to me.
Please refer back to my first sentence....

Is that like white on ice cream. Yes I like your shot it is more realistic.
I was after all the craters. It's hard to get that balance of white and black.
We just had 1.25" of rain in the last 1/2 hour and it flooded the garage. Never ever seen that much rain here in Calif.

Well, more like White on Rice.
It does give one a chance to do some fiddling in Post Processing.
But you need something decent to begin playing with.
I have high hopes to pristine skies after the clouds part. It's Sun-Shiny here today. :-D (Partial clouds)
Sorry to hear you got flooded. :? Bummer.
But that's why tripods have legs. Keeps your camera dry. :hunf:

Regis and everyone. How high of an ISO do you shot the Moon?
Craig

It's not so much how high or low the ISO's are, it's the Canon 6D camera sensor that brings out a clear and detailed photo, even better than the Canon Mark III. Currently, there is no camera on the market under $4500, that I am aware of, that has this ISO capability that matches the Canon 6D, Craig.
