We have been a custermer of Diect tv for ten years. Our bill kept creeping up over the years, we payed no attention and had the bill paid through our bank account. When we finally caught it we called Direct Tv and got the run around. We dropped them and went to cable. Direct tv called and apologized for our bad experience and offered us some deals. I told them we would come back but my I wanted the cost and monthly cost up front. They told me for these prices I would be under a one year contract. I said ok that will work. The installer just left my house with their equipment. They decided that I needed to pay them $199.00 for a receiver. I told them that was not the deal. They told me that I was under contract and would be charged a cancellation fee. My response was when hell freezes over. Now I have to figure out how to keep them out of my checking account. Any advice here will help. What a piece of crap,of a,company. (Sorry for the missed spellings but I am,pissed,off,and don't care)
