Just wondering what kind of a tracker did you get?
Ah, I have the same tracker. I have been able to get just a little longer than 3 minute exposures at 300 mm with little trailing. That is pushing it a bit! But I use mine all the time, (but for shorter focal lengths usually) and it works well, and is easy to use. You'll enjoy it! Quick, simple, and effective. I trust you have a good ball head to use on it.

I got the iOptron ball head to go with it. Orion is rising early enough now, but *sigh* snow coming in for the next 24 hours

It's a well known problem to us who buy new astronomy equipment. You buy it, and then it clouds up! It's hard on us who *didn't* buy anything new, but we have to suffer those same clouds.
What fun!
I really like the Palm trees in the image. :-)
I love how you have the ecliptic in the middle of the frame.
Showing the stars North curving one way and South the other!!! Bravo!
I'm heading to Walker Pass (again), if you close enough, you're more than welcome to join us :-)
