I'm sure that was right on top of her list, with a cordless drill #2. :D

Well your close Jerry, turns out she wanted a CS1000 Black and Decker Skill 7" saw for our anniversary.

She'd probably rather have a Dremel while you're at it or a new steam iron. A steam mop for the kitchen floor is another option. It depends upon how much you value your marriage. :-)

I learned my lesson before we were married. My future wife got a new car, and I very thoughtfully gave her things like a pad and pencil, ice scraper, wisk broom - you know, practical things. Fortunately, she had enough sense to ask me what I had gotten her well before Christmas, so I had time to shop for real presents.

I'm sure that's easier for you to buy than lingerie. :D

EDIT: Check the customer reviews.

Actually I've just been pulling everyone's leg. She did receive a HX300 for her birthday...and a new set of tires both. Her tires were shot and this was to make sure she was safe on a recent trip to West Virginia. So she had a safe car and fun camera on that trip. I just made up the Skill Saw story out of jest for a good laugh. After reading the review...good thing I didn't really buy one. I'm naughty, I guess I'm now on Santa's naughty list.

Reminds me of the Stihl chain saw my father-in-law bought for his wife one Christmas.

I'm about due for a new one. The local dealer says he won't be able to get parts for mine (1977) much longer. Maybe I'll get a new one in 2017.
