I need opinions on what to say to a person who thinks he is a wonderful, creative photographer. This is the picture he took of me and my horse. I just said gee, thanks. He is always at the stable. He has a Canon and an L lens.....and he is forever taking weird angle pictures.

Am I crazy? Does anyone think this is a good picture?

Makes me seasick to se these rediculously out of level images. But that's just me. People like that need to stick to using the camera in their phone.

He usually tries to tell me about how I can improve, but he has never seen any of my photos. Lol

I'm having a hard time going all the way to a Good Picture on this one. I admit that with the size of the thumbnail it is tough to have an opinion of all the technical aspects of the photo though. Still, I wouldn't keep it my own portfolio. In brief, I'm not overly fond of it.

no, looks like you and the horse are going to fall off the frame. I wish I could say some thing good.

well, at least the horse did a good job of posing and looking at the camera. And he didn't bore us with that bothersome color...

Ouch. Did ya have to show me that? :)

The picture - well - to each his own...
Personally, it is not something I would keep...

What to say -
My thoughts:
Tell him thanks but no thanks - you do not discuss photography when you are at the stables - that is your personal time to (fill your own stuff here)...

Maybe he wants to meet you socially.

It could be he is insecure in his skills and is looking for a friend and doesn't know/understand social etiquette.

If he persists, you might want to think about what this guy is really up to...

Just my 2ยข

Perhaps another location for that "stick" to help keep them vertical.
Thanks for the horizon leveling capacity in PP.
