Took this image in the wee morning hours. It is a 70 minute exposure, 140 frames stacked (30 sec subs), ISO 3200 with 72mm dia Astro-Tech and Canon 60Da. Temperature was well below freezing and ice was accumulating on the instruments. Kept the chip cool anyway, lol. This is known as the Rosette Nebula, NGC 2244 in the constellation Monoceros, right next door to the left of Orion.
Beautiful shot. I never seem to see it when I am searching.
