How about racial attitudes? And no I'm not claiming there is no r****m in the north.
Also I've heard that there is night and day between Atlanta and the rest of Georgia. That the only place the twenty first century touches Alabama is Huntsville. That north Florida is quite backwards. Couldn't verify any of that. Don't really know what's true.

Yes, there are red necks, some may be quite r****ts, but so are quite a few people in NYC, even the so called tolerant are only tolerant till their real colors show... but yes, I have heard the N word in the last few years, but not in company that I would hang out with or in company that many just about anyone I know would hang out with.... I can tell you two things, some of the most r****t people I have met were from Pennsylvania, my mom's was from Easton, so I do meet people from up there from time to time.... and the other thing I went to school in northern MN, I was shocked to learn that they have red necks too....

Then there is the r****m of the left... which to me is the worst kind, when you have influential leaders in your party both black and white unequivocally state that if a black person is a conservative then they are in fact t*****rs to their race..... Wow! Just Wow! It is incredible that someone could be so prejudiced to even have such a thought.

Our opinions differ greatly on this subject. I have long thought that many in the south, not all, are very stupid people. Maybe not even half, but a lot of the states don't value education and are not the states where you'd go to get a good paying job. Places where you do want to be "from." The states are poor, they're in the bible belt and value their guns greatly. Stupid.

Maybe it might surprise you that New York ranks below Florida, Texas and North Carolina, Michigan is ranked 40th but even more surprising is that Connecticut is ranked 37th... Yes, it does seem that southern states are bringing up the rear but then again they are also the least resourced and most economically challenged.... again, lets not forget that the economies of the south were agrarian and were never fully developed as they were up north... There are plenty of smart people... you should realize that people are people, kinda like there is no difference in the mental capacities of white people and people of color... the same goes for north and south...

I think mostly you hear conservative b****s being criticized for taking advantage of every progressive program and then trying to close them. kind of I got mine now just try and get yours. Or it was good enough for me but it would just ens***e you. Hardly the same as saying a black person cant be conservative.
I have always lived in the north and always lived in the west (but not the northwest) I'll admit to witnessing quite a bit of r****m. I saw a lot more in Nevada than I do in California but in California I have lived in the capitol and in silicon valley if that makes any difference. I'm white so I don't know what a black person would see. In Reno when I was looking for housing the realtors would always talk about "those people" living somewhere and I found that upsetting.

I hear that Atlanta and the rest of Georgia is night and day. I also hear that Huntsville and the rest of Alabama is night and day. Then there is the north to get south saying about Florida. I can't speak personally to any of that. I guess I don't know for a fact that it's true but I've heard it for years. Any thoughts? is it true? if so do you have explanations? You may not be the person to ask or I may be out of line but I'm curious.

North Florida certainly feels more like Southern Georgia than it does Miami, Tampa, or Orlando... But then again there are few places in the country quite like Miami and Orlando is quickly turning in to a community very much like Miami... Don't know how it is in Tampa, but Ybor city in the Tampa area was a long time Cuban settlement that existed even before the Florida Purchase from Spain in 1819, by then Sec of State John Quincy Adams.... LOL just looked that up.

Anyway it has been awhile since I spent time in Tampa but the last time I was there I did not notice large Latino communities like they have in Orlando and Miami, but maybe I just did not go to the right part of town.

North Florida? Much of it is very rural which means it is hardly any different than Georgia or Alabama, but then you have places like Destin which are supposed to be pretty great places, Panama City is known as the Red Neck Rivera, so I guess that does not leave much room to say to much about that other than the beaches in that part of the State are beautiful, as they are in Southern Florida from West Palm down to Miami. We still joke that Jacksonville is the capital of Southern Georgia.

But typically I think that the people in North Florida are not so much different than people anywhere.... they go to work, they take care of their families, and they just want what is best for their communities.... Not so sure why folks have to act that they have some sort of disease, they're just folks, and often those people in some of those smaller communities have learned to get along and have come to rely upon one another.

I disagree with the criticism of conservative b****s, it is a liberal mindset that is truly ugly, I am pretty sure that many conservative b****s did not take anymore from the system than did the average person black or white. Personally I think that the criticism comes from two very ugly assumptions, that the b****s are and always will be dependent on the government, and two that b****s can't ever get away from the color of their skin, something that liberals have a much bigger problem with than conservatives do... Why would you view him as anything other than a conservative? Can you not understand the ugly prejudice in seeing him any other way? When people are upset because a black person may be a conservative unconsciously they are assuming that the democrats and liberalism has a right to own and control his thoughts and the principles that he must adhere to... How messed up and r****t is that?

I don't think that liberals actually understand this ugliness that they carry with them.

And this coming from an elitist northern liberal. No surprise here, as she continues to show just exactly how simple minded and shallow she is.

Oh come on you sanctimonious twit! Anyone that has been on the forum more than 10 minutes, knows exactly from your posts where you stand politically! And if indeed you did serve, thank you sir.

My post was directed toward the current crop of educators, not you per se, but if you are/were a librard educator my post is directed exactly toward you and your ilk!

Don't flatter yourself by reading something into a post that isn't there!

It believe it was Abraham Lincoln who said
"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

You really should take this advice.

You think you know so GD much.

You don't know as much as you think you do.
That's obvious from YOUR posts.

Sitting back and waiting for you to throw more insults.....as you usually do.

I have told you once before to go away twit, and stop reading s**t in posts that just isn't there. Take Abe's advice, as it certainly pertains squarely at you. You pathetic little libtrards just can't seem to figure out the whole world isn't all about you, and your feminine sensibilities, which are so easily offended! You do on occasion need to be reminded of your limitations!

Jakey, if the last thing you were proud of that you did is your marine days, you have led an awfully dull life. Stop cutting up people more intelligent than yourself and grow up.
