That's all i have been doing for the last 3 days- today it was every 10 minutes i was pouring nectar into their little bowl/ with them swarming all over me.
I could hear them by my ears and feel their wings fluttering the air. All they wanted was for me to refill the bowl.
When they started to swarm again - i knew it was time to refill it again.

Ought to be some honey in your immediate future, if you follow them back to their hive...

Cool shot!

I am a firm believer that animals and even bees or wasps know whose safe and whose not.

Yellow jackets are a different story tho..

i watched to see where they went - no set direction/ some went west and others went south.
i think the owner needs to provide me with some of his honey after all this!

Normally all the tomatoes here have burned up by now but this year I had a few sprout maybe a month ago and it had cooled off enough the are growing like gangbusters. I may start doing that on purpose. ha

how cool colo43 , i agree with your comments on creatures knowing who to trust and who not to , a lot of birds will let you get close once they are used to you being there and doing them no harm
bees do not want to sting as they then die so its a last resort , snakes are the same

Seasons are so short that half our items are not even ready before the snow flys here.
Glad you got some extra time in and some goodies to boot..

I think it holds true with a lot of God's creatures.
Go slow and gain their trust-it always seems to work out.
