My assignment for myself this evening was to shoot with the 85mm f/1.8 It was overcast since it is getting ready to rain hard tomorrow. There was enough light to get some decent photos. I also took a quick shot of my assistant. The last one looks best in download.

Excellent series. They're all great; can't pick a favorite, but I really love the 'Bunker' action shot! He's a cutie.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked the photos. Bunker loves that park. It is big enough so that I can let him off the leash most of the time. When I stop to take pictures he will run ahead and then look back at me. Almost as if he's saying:"That's nice, Ansel, but could we please get on with the walk. I have P-mail to read".

Thanks. Bunker is always fun to have around. He has enough Bulldog in him to be almost 100% personality and attitude. Very different from the German Shepherd I had in the past. Also a great dog, but very different from Bunker.

Thank you. Glad you liked the photos. I like the spillway and also the last one. It looks better on my monitor than it does on the website. I'm thinking of printing it with a black matte border.

Yes, he really loves that park. I'm fortunate that it is very close to my house. We get a 3 mile walk several times a week. Good for both of us.

I wish I had used a higher f/stop for that one to get everything in focus. I thought it would look good with the leaves in green and everything else in B&W. Thanks for taking a look.

Is that a photo of Buster Crabbe's tombstone?

Thanks, Jim. It took some doing, but I managed to get the contrast and the look that I wanted in that photo. I appreciate your comments, thanks.

No, the plot is right in the middle of a park that I visit often. I think it was the family that owned and operated the place when it was a company town with cranberry bogs.
