Since the Sigma I predicted months ago is now just an announcement away from reality, I have decided to stick my neck out and make a new prediction.
Sigma has been moving towards upgrading their lens lineup to their new "Global Vision" quality, all of which so far have proven to be exemplary offerings, and the capability of adjusting many lens features to your camera, AT HOME, via the USB docking system is without rival in the industry.
I feel the next logical step for Sigma will be to upgrade two high demand lenses to this Global Vision series in the Sports category. Those would be the 24-70mm F2.8 and 70-200mm F2.8 lenses. I think both new offerings will have OS with multiple mode settings, either 82mm or 86mm filters, amazingly fast autofocus, and will top the charts in sharpness testing.
These just seem to be a logical next step based on their progressions the last 3 years. But that's just one old Montana boys opinion.
Oh, and I expect these to for Photokina 2015 or at least for CES 2016. Sure would be nice to see them for CES 2015! ;-) ;-) ;-)

Good morning MT, Photokina is every two years so the next one will be in 2016. I was there once and it was a kick, hope to be there in 2016.
