I too have both the 50D and 6D. For the money, the 6D is awesome. At the time, if I had the money, I would have purchased the 5D MK III. Again, at the time, the 6D was the only Canon camera in this class that came close to the 5D.
Of course, if I had to do it all over again from scratch today, I'd get a Nikon D810. Might still do this in the future. :-)
