Blow to Obamacare

The Federal Appeals Court just determined that the Federal Government cannot subsidize premiums for health insurance in the 34 states that did now set up exchanges. Of course the Democrats are going to blame Republican Governors for this but my take is the blame lies with those who voted for the ACA without knowing what was in the bill. As one of our least revered states people said, "we must pass it to find out what is in it. That is my Dr's definition of a stool sample
The Administration has already said the subsidies will go on. No surprise there since they have repeatedly shown they have no respect for either the Legislative or the Judicial branches. And since the AG refuses to enforce subpoenas or any other requests that may show the illegal activities of the Administration they will continue to do so.
I don't think Obama should be impeached, I think the day he hands over the keys 1600 he should be arrested for treason, tried, and put in Leavenworth for a very long time.
This is just my opinion, no name calling, just how I feel.
Most threads on UHH are opinions. Links generally come from right or left wing publications or websites whose believability is on par with a Disney animated movie.
Still, they are fun to read.

Because a federal court states an opinion does not mean the world stops turning. You simply appeal it and a stay is routinely issued until the next higher court rules on it.
This is not breaking the law. This is the law.
You obviously have an axe to grind with Obama as your posting so clearly indicates but in this case I would only suggest that you wait and see what SCOTUS does before you put a President on trial for Treason because you don't like him.
I didn't like Bush but I never thought he should be tried for Treason or Impeached. I just didn't like him.
Elections have consequences. Don't like it; then make sure you vote.

You, my friend, are so correct!
He should not be allowed to finish his term.
He has made this once mighty country the laughing stock of the free world.
When that thief said that you have to pass it to see whats in it, she should have been tarred and feathered and ran out of town.

Nowhere in my post did I say Obama broke the law as defined by this ruling. I am fully aware of the procedures, also that SCOTUS may decline to hear this case

Wasn't quite done. Several times I stated this post was my opinion snd my opinion is he has broken enough laws to be tried for treason. We all know this will never happen but I would vote for it, as I vote in every election. Dont chastise me for my opinion nor should you infer things I did not post.

If you don't think he broke the law, why do you want him arrested for treason?

It is my observation, in my 74 years as a citizen, that Government, and those that really run it, have never done anything to improve our way of life, and only do what they feel benefit their agenda. Because of their lack of interest to make our country strong, they have, and will continue to line their pockets, and send our country deeper into debt. I served in the military, because it love my country. I still feel the same way, but I don't care for my Government.
I guess what I'm saying is that I don't blame one person for what our country is today. They are all at fault, for failing us. Of course, this is just my opinion, and food for thought.

First you say he didn't break the law and then you say he did.

Who wouldn't be confused?

Two years younger but also ex military, I agree with you completely. I just feel Obama is worse than most, or perhaps any.

If our country isn't being run the way we want, then it's OUR responsibility to change it.

That will be difficult because change requires term limits and making that happen will require a Constitutional Amendment. Beyond that whomever is elected will do the same old crap, make themselves wealthy at the expense of the rest of us.

It does NOT require Term Limits.
That's the lazy/passive way.

You're starting to sound defeatist.

Have you given up already?

I disagree with you. Not a defeatist, just realistic. Most agree that for change to happen we need at least three things; term limits tax reform, abolish lobbyists

Term limits just means that you wait around and do nothing until the limit kicks in.

In my expreience, people want term limits because they think that getting the current "guy" out will solve anything.

The REAL solution, IMHO, is to elect the people you want at the next election....without waiting for term limits.
