My Flower Pictures: Not Sunflowers - but hope you like them.

Beautiful..Love them.. what person does not like flowers!

I hear ya - Flowers have a way of working their magic on us - they don't have to say anything or do anything and yet they put a Big Smile on our face - How cool is that.
Thanks.

Judging by your images on your Flickr account, it would appear to me that, for whatever your reason, you are being purposely disruptive to this thread. That will not win you much favor on UHH unless I've miscalculated the nature of the situation, and I for one, am not thinking of you as "cute" and I'm hoping that others will discontinue encouraging you.

Well a person definitely should stick to the subject. I agree.
So lets move on and realize that this thread IS about SUNFLOWERS and we all have some beautiful ones to show and its a new day..so lets start a new day...!

Ditto! I am the new guy here learning the ropes - Sunflowers is subject - Keep em coming. Life Is Good

Gorgeous sunflower shots...did you use a macro lens for the close-up?

If you were addressing me, first, thank you, and at the time I took the closeup shots on here, I was using extension tubes with a couple of different non-macro lens. I have recently bought a macro lens and am looking forward to the flowering of Spring this year so I can put it to use.

Actually, I was looking at someone else's sunflower, but I LOVE your peach-colored iris.

Very nice, especially with the backlighting! These fields must be being grown for the seeds....one of my eating habits. Since you invited, here's a couple of mine (the 2nd photo may have been posted some time ago on another thread):
Gorgeous shot (#1) AKDreamer!!

A few of mine......sunflowers are so bold and beautiful.
Love your field shots and the perspective created.
The first two appear to be expressing emotion. #1 - Bashful with hand up to mouth perhaps in a blushing fashion. #2 - Thinking things over or feeling a little melancholy. Either way I love them both!!

May I suggest to you that when you get ready to reply to a specific person that you not use the "quick reply" box but rather that you choose the "Quote Reply" at the bottom of the post to which you wish to reply . That will cause the post to be referred to in your comment so people can tell which post or poster you are addressing. Otherwise nobody can tell who you're talking to and it causes confusion as in this case.

I will take your suggestion, and I'm very sorry about the confusion.

Really good shots Greg. You live in the middle of all the sunflowers in CO. Surely you have more. Put 'em on here and thanks for posting these.[/quote]
