Welcome to Day 23 of our challenge. I had a request to keep it simple ... not sure if this qualifies ... but Nan this one is for you :) Still Life ... a subject of which I have zero skill so this may not be as simple as it implies. However there shouldn't be many focusing problems. So here's the idea... take anything .. doesn't matter .. (ex. an egg on a light background, some coins, food of any kind, your keys, etc.) add some ambient lighting and take the photo.
This should (in theory) help us all to learn about lighting.
At this point I am a total blank lol... This photo is not my official challenge photo .. however it was taken at the wildlife museum and it's stuffed so that's about a still as life gets I suppose :) Good luck and have some fun with it.

taxidermy ... still life ? LOL

Oh Goody!! A simple still life...like my grandson said to me the other day...gnarly Dude!! I think he was dredging up some 1980's expression but it made me laugh! Tomorrow Im at the art studio all morning until 2:00 so maybe I can do something from the studio. Can't wait to see what everyone does!

Ok, wise guy...I heard you talking about me 8-)
But I am so glad you heard me talking....and made it an easy one for today....Hmmmmm what to do, what to do.

Oh and POOKIE....is one of the cutest little devil dog diggers since my Casper.. a little story about a digging dog terrier like yours.

Short version, I did my best to train that dog NOT to dig in the yard (didnt always work), but he WAS encouraged to dig on a sandy Island we would visit regularly. On one visit that dang dog went missing and as I walked in the water at the edge of the island calling his name I was startled by a river critter that popped out of a hole and swam out into the current. A few seconds later another critter all covered in sandy river silt popped out the same hole in the ground and swam out after it. HOLY DIRTY DIGGING DOG...it was my Casper who had followed that thing down one hole on the island and popped out another.

You better hope Pookie doesnt pop out in CHINA
