AMEN BROTHER !!!!! Welcome Home !!! I've had 11 surgeries so far, type II diabetes, conjestive heart failure, a degenerative bone diseaseand a horrible case of PTSD.......no other reminders needed......Thanks for your service Brother !!!!

Being a Vet myself, most of us handle the past in our own way and do not need to buy something and wear it around to "show off"...we did that and it's over.

Like I said before, lost a few friends and came home with 2 purple hearts, Took one in the leg and one in the arm. Not real serious, but they are coming back to remind me every so often. Lot of crap when we got back too, that will take more than a life time to get out of your head. A ring,,,, don't think I need it. 4 years over there was plenty.

veitman,68/69.i agree,somethings are better left in the past,though,the past sometime sneeks up an bites you in the butt,reminded of something everyone who was there is trying to forget,hell,they forgot us why shoud we try to remember.
