I like the ring, but I don't like the way the vets look on the ring. It doesn't look natural.

I like the rings look, but also don't like the look of the vets. I served 4 years in Nam. I don't think I would wear it any way. It has taken me a long time to forget most of it and I don't need a ring to remember all the friends I lost and still have from that time.

Nope - don't like how the vets are on it and I have enough memories of Nam buried away without wearing a ring to remind me of them.

Bradford Exchange is one of those outfits that puts together cheap 'collectibles' out of sub-standard materials and dubious artistic worth, and then markets them to gullible people, by playing on guilt, sentimentality, or both. Hence the dopey "granddaughter" plates, Elvis on velvet, ridiculous looking "Noble Native American" on a horse, or similar object. Stay away.
What about the women who served in Vietnam?
I don't care for it ....to gaudy and I don't need to be reminded of my year over there.
Looks like just another attempt to make money off of other folks emotions. Like the other Nam vets here, 62 to 68, I would have no use for it, also it's a bit gaudy for my tastes.
The problem with items like this is that anyone can purchase one. That doesn't make them a vet. Have a vet brother of the Viet Nam war, another brother vet of Viet Nam (two tours) and Operation Dessert Storm and my dad is a vet of the Korean War and WWII. None would wear this ring.
If you got bit by Agent Orange you get reminded of Nam every day - I don't need a ring.
