True. I have been on forums with many thousands of members as well, and they are usually well policed. It appears that that is not yet the standard here.

I joined UHH in aug. i think ,and it is really helpful i hadn't done any photography seriously since high school and just started using computers in the last couple of years. In the beginning everyone seemed really nice and helpful, and maybe i'm just new to the internet thing but it seems some people are getting grumpier as the days go by.I still love the site i just hope everyone can mellow out and get back to photography,i mean thats why we came together in the first place right? Just my take, take it as you want.omnila

Not sure where the quote came from but I think it applies: "Civility is not a sign of weakness"

Yep definitely have to take some comments with a grain of salt , wedge of lime , and a double shot of tequila.
Hang in there hun ... it seems to come and go in cycles.. When the post gets too crazy I just roll my eyes and move on to the next one. I try hard to stay out of the BS.

Did you post any of your shots of tequila on here? I haven't been able to find any of them.

North Texas not bad either about 78. I took a walk in Spring Creek Forest Preserve. It was much better preservered for 300 years before the state got involved.

Forgot to add I'm recently retired and just now taking up photography. I find UHH not only education but overall a very pleasnat way to spend way too much time. Sure there are some contributers I pay more attention to than others but the same holds in most aspects of life.
