Heres a Barn I shot in Egnar Colorado. Was late in the afternoon. Egnar is in the Cortez area,,its Range spelled backwards

Now thst is what I am talking about Plusten. A great prized shot of an old barn that is on the way out. Not too far down the road these type of barns will be almost impossible to find. Shoot em while you can. Memories are a good thing to have.

Here are three more old barn photos. Let me know what you think of them.

Amazing potential here, like some have said early or late in the day would be best. Don't know if you get snow, but that would be nice too.
I played with them a bit and you might like them this way too.
Anyway, keep shooting those oldies, they'll be gone soon.

The day that I shot these was a gray and windy day. I thought it added to the appearance of the barn looking old and decrepit.

Remind me of one in my area about 5 miles away that is in worse shape than this. The one I know of has already partially collapsed. Nice Shots.

I was out and about the other day, and took this long zoom shot of an old barn with my SX150is. Seems mother nature is about to reclaim this ones space, but evidently its still in use.

These remind me of when my kids were little and we would be driving to visit their grandparents. One of their car games was looking for what they called "elephant barns". They were convinced that elephants had trampled them to the point of falling down.

Boy Jughead..... this one sure got robbed from you :)
Your shots are nice but would be a tad better with the right lighting like some big cumulus nimbus clouds in the back ground. Many times when traveling I have wished for better lighting so at times we just have to do with what we've got.
Just my 2 pennies

Hey One Jughead..Good shooting..It is not always necessary to always take the GREAT SHOT. I say and I do take a shot that I like and it will be mine to do with it what I want. There will always be someone that will make comments about this or that but as far as I am concerned and I do care but if I see a shot I want I take it and get on down the road. Keep shooting at your own pace and if you desire then get more involved.
