I am in the market for a new printer. Love the Epson printers. I want wireless, 13"X19" sheet size, reasonably priced as possible. No need for FAX, scan, other... Any suggestions?

I suggest that the first thing you do is go to the Epson site and see what they have to offer in your price range. Keep in mind that better prices can often be found at places like B&H, Adorama, etc., but it is a starting point. Once you find something that suits you then start asking for opinions. Otherwise you will be getting responses about printers that are way more or way less then you need or want, not to mention all the recommendations you will get for competing brands.

I just bought the R2880 from the Epson Store. It comes with a $150 mail-in rebate.

Don't forget to take cost per page into consideration. Sometimes the more expensive printer saves money in the long run.

I have the Epson Artisian 730 and it's a very nice printer. It has very good quality print. I print photos directly to printable CD's for family and the quality of print is incredible. This is the older version. There are newer versions; 830 etc but more expensive and more bells and whistles. I caught it on sale for $179 (normally $299). The wireless feature works flawlessly with my laptop and iPad. Rarely ever loses a connection with my network. If you can find one on sale it's a good printer. There is an app for iPad / iPhone that works great as well. Scanning a document or picture into your email or docs is a breeze. Had mine for over s year and no issues.

Check ebay for ink replacement good price, better get CISS system.
I do a lot of printing in house the best was Epson 1400 had 3, than 1100, then a great deal at B&H on a Epson 7010. These are all 13 x 19s.
I only get about 6 months out of any printer get, I have 21 in house now. The pads go bad. I called Epson the other day about my Epson 1100 he wanted to sell me one, for $200. and a fix anything I had with Epson name on it for $150. more.
With printers run a full color 8.5 x 11 one time a day it will save the pads, if you don't use it ever day.

I have had the Epson R3000 for over a year now, expensive but well worth the money. Probably wont find a better quality A3+ printer for the price though. Uses larger capacity ink cartridges cutting down on changing them after only making a few prints.

You can't go wrong with Epson. One thing to consider is the ease of switching from photo black to matte black, if that matters to you, of course. I had the 2200 which was great from that point of view and now have the R2880 and 3880. The latter allows an easy switch from matte to photo black and vice versa and you can print images 16 x 20. I had a Pixma, but the quality wasn't the same. Supplies ordered from Epson on line arrive VERY quickly. It's true that inks tend to be a bit lower priced at B & H. You might consider calling Epson and describing your needs and wants. Their reps are very helpful.
Enjoy! You will get marvelous prints!

Cannon has been having great sales on their printers. I just bought a p100, it prints 13" x19". It was on sale for 399.00. After the rebate and free paper, I paid about $35.00 for it. It is a fairly large printer, and does a really good job. I just went to workshop for this printer series, and there are still really good deals from them. I'm sure their money is made on ink sales, but I have not found it to use any more ink than my previous Epsons.

I have had Epson printers for years. The 4000 and now the 2880 which has the 13-19" output. The new Epsons use a lot of ink.
And the 2880 requires care in paper weight and printing.
To me their are 2 kinds of printers. Art and photo printers
and everyday all-in-one business printers.
I just had a frustrating experience with their all-in-one 850.
It was great and then started to change colors. Got a new one and within a couple of weeks rainbow colors. Epson informed
me they don't refund for printers. And this printer was using
to much ink. No photos printed just copies biz stuff. The you need ink was poping up constantly. I just received 3rd one.
This said I think if you have patience their big printers are a good. Saw large Canon plotter at show and loved it.
Not sure where Epson stands as a business. I hope this helpful.
Good luck.

Hi A.J.R.
I've got the same printer with a blinking orange light with a message saying something needs cleaning. I tried doing it from the computer with no luck. Any idea how to do it?

It probably wants maintenance. Look at nozzle cleaning etc.
And that uses a lot of ink. It is not unusual to nozzle clean
and run alignment. I suspect this model which seems so good, fast, quiet etc. might have issues.

Check out this offer from Epson for a refurbished unit that meets your requirements. I bought the previous model which didn't have the wi-fi this way some time back and I am very pleased with it. And it can be converted to Continuous Inking System easily.
