How many bills have the Republicans struck down concerning children? I know in the state I live, education is harder to come by since schools are being shut down and subjects taken out of schools. Higher education is being billed at outrageous charges for those attending college. It's as if the child is forgotten. Yes, your party does this.

What about the crazy laws in TX and other places? Usually, the states that are southern, welfare states. Keeping women who are brain dead alive because they are pregnant? That doesn't even make sense.

You know religious families who adopted children. Good for them! I had a doctor who adopted six children, all from other countries. He received all the praise from people, adopting all these children but lots of times these children are damaged. It didn't show up until later. Though he was able to provide them with the best of schools, the best housing, everything they might ever want, several of them turned out poorly. I know he had to have at least one of them arrested. He too was a religious person and he and his wife would take their whole family each week to church and participate in church extra-curricular activities. To my knowledge, none of them turned out religious.

For the most part, Republicans do NOT care about the children, yes, the unborn, but not once they are born.

+++++++++++++++ I cannot comment on any state but Illinois, but I will tell you that the School System has not been helped by the Democratic Administration... In Jasper county in the last 20yrs....6 Schools have been closed and the kids sent to other schools, crowding them and making the Teachers take on more pupils with less necessities. I know that personal anecdotes are just that..personal and only of a small sample of one persons attitudes...but

On May 21, 2014 I was blessed with my 5th Illegitimate Great Grand Child I have a total of 8 Great Grand Children and 16 Grand Children..
I LOVE each of these 5 babies, no less or no more than the other 19... BUT they all share one particular thing......

All five of them were going to be aborted by their mothers (3 Young Ladies) I went to each of them when I was told that they were pregnant and considering an Abortion. I asked each of them to re consider that decision and that if they would carry the child to term and then didn't want it, I would take it and Raise it..... Strangely enough, all 3 of them Did have those babies and when they arrived they decided to raise that child themselves...The youngest is 4 days old and the oldest is 11ys old....

Some people regret abortion, strong women who are sure of themselves and life don't. You don't announce you're pregnant and thinking about abortion unless you want to be talked out of it. You weigh the pros and cons, make your decision and proceed. Abortions apply to the married just as much as the unmarried. And, this should shake you, many, many religious women have gotten abortions, they are the ones most regretting their choice because they have the problem of the bible thumpers telling them it's wrong.

Congrats on your great-grandchild.

You didn't bother to answer my question about the Father of the unborn child that the mother wants to kill.... It takes two to get that child started.... why should it not take two to decide to kill it..... Of course only the Female can carry that child to birth,,,but that is just a "mechanical" fact.... Yet when we were having children, my wife could have killed one of my children with out so much as a word to me...

CHOICE........whose choice? At what point has the father been left out of the choice? At what stage of the pregnancy does the "IT" become a "Living Child"?
