I've been a member for a month or so and made 3 posts, did a lot of looking and reading. Now I finally picked an avatar and decided to introduce myself.
I am a late 60's retired classroom teacher who has too many hobbies to list, but reading, consuming audio/video/photography and playing with trains are at the top. (real trains at Orange Empire Railway Museum, not models)
Am in the process of learning Light Room and relearning Corel Photo Paint 5 (can't afford PhotoShop, besides used older versions of Corel Draw and Photo Paint a lot over the last 10-15 (?) years or so, just never learned more than what I needed for one editing session. Any hints would be appreciated.
I use Sigma SD10 & SD14 with several lenses and Canon 6D (new and current favorite), a Fujifilm HS 10 and a Panasonic DMC-ZS6, ("My carry in shirt pocket all the time just in case camera.") I have flashes but prefer available light photography most of the time.
I live in Corona, Riverside County(SE of LA), California and have started going to the Senior Citizens Center Photo Club that meets once a month. Any other groups near here I should know about? Oh, yeah, I seldom know when to stop talking etc.
Hello and welcome to the UHH

Hi Robert, a welcome to the hog, even if it is belated. Im also a senior, living in the San Fernando Valley. You are lucky to have a club to go to. Have fun here, and do post some of your pictures.
