Other than being a total idiot for saying what he did and not realizing it could go public I feel the man has an absolute right to say what he pleases. Called "Free Speech" and it is one of our most important constitutional rights. Yes, people have a right to call him a bigot but I'm not sure the NBA has a right to take his team away from him unless there is a clause in his contract with them prohibiting what he did. And if I were him I sure as hell wouldn't pay the fine. If they have thrown me out of basketball why would I pay the fine? Just my .02

I agree. But what upsets me the most is the MEDIA! They are looking for the sensationalism of it and are getting everyone all fired up about what I think is NOTHING! It brings me back to what I was told as a child "Sticks and stones may break my bones" etc. and then they go and interview Doc Rivers and we hear - - " Now we have to go through a healing process to work beyond this" What a crock of sh** ! Seriously - "healing process" Give me a break! With all the serious things like wars we shouldn't be in and an inexperienced school boy for a president, wouldn't it be more important for the media to focus on important issues instead of trying to breach free speech!

The whole thing as far as I'm concerned is a bunch of BVLLSHIT !!!

What he said - if he actually did, (they don't want to seem to actually prove it) - is NOT against the law.. Its called FREE SPEECH !! May not be proper or moral to say, but its sure as hell is not illegal...

To me, the "Pure ones", want to change what is not morally proper into "guilty as hell illegal" action...

Oh, and the NAACP ?? They sure as hell don't have any room to start shaking their finger at someone else !

Double standard society ???
The whole thing as far as I'm concerned is a bunch... (show quote)

Yep - this fellow just got outed by someone how probably was tired of his being overly verbal with his personal beliefs and thoughts. I do believe what she did is the crime by recording and making it public.

One hears this type of verbal , racist abuse in most any gathering of a specific race by ego driven people.

The NAACP .............

Why?

Because they accepted millions of dollars from this guy over the years knowing he had issues of color. They even gave this guy many awards .............

Donald knew what he was doing, buying awards to counter his image ............

The NAACP knew what they were doing as well ........... shameful ....... despicable

Yep, they laughed all the way to the bank. Proves the old saying, A fool and his money is soon parted.

Okay, I stand corrected on the clause. But I still wouldn't pay the fine since I doubt there is legal standing to enforce it.
