Lightroom 5 training

I just recently purchased LS 5 and noted the availability of the LR Online Video Course by Steele Training. I'm interested in comments from anyone who has taken the course. How would you rate the course as a training tool and is there anything you'd rate better than the Steele course?

I purchased it. I wouldn't recommend it. You'll get much more information watching Serge Ramelli's series on using LR for pp. He doesn't teach getting your photos into and out of LR but how to use it for pp. I, personally, learn much more if I can see what's being done by each of the sliders. Of course, others may not agree and that's OK. We're all different. Julianne Koss is also an excellent teacher on the Adobe site. I hope I've spelled her name correctly. I think everyone will agree that she's the master of LR and any other Adobe products.

Steele is very good, but it's not free. tv.adobe is free, and it's excellent. If you go through all of those videos, you will probably know more than most people on UHH.

Al alternative is lynda.com and kelbytraining.com. I think both offer a week for free and then it's $25/month for everything they offer. Lynda used to offer the courses on DVD, but they stopped that.

I subscribe to Lynda.com and I like it and use it for a variety of programs. Youtube is a great source as well as Adobe.

I subscribe to lynda occasionally for a month or two, but I can't stay on it for more than two months. I liked it when I could buy the DVDs.

Look for Anthony Morganti on youtube. He's got a great series of tutorials that are easy to follow and detailed on each aspect of what one can do with LR5.

I have a few Steele Training videos and have watched several of his free videos. I like his demeanor and communication style, and I feel I have learned a lot. I haven't experiences some of the alternatives discussed above.
