There are EIGHT levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a socialist system:

1) Healthcare - Control healthcare and you control the people.
2) Poverty - Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them.
3) Debt - Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.
4) Gun Control - Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.
5) Welfare - Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income)
6) Education - Take control of what people read and listen to. Take control of what children learn in school.
7) Religion - Remove the belief in God from the Government and schools.
8) Class Warfare - Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to tax the wealthy with the support of the poor.

Saul David Alinsky was an American COMMUNITY ORGANIZER and writer. He is generally considered to be the founder of community organizing. He is often noted for his book RULES FOR RADICALS. From that book came the above eight levels of control. ANY OF IT SOUND FAMILIAR?

and best of all give corporations the full rights of a person, then say that money is free speech, then strip all rules and regulations from corporations, do not tax them (they create jobs for the slave class) allow them to keep 2 Trillion in off shore accounts while continuing to transfer wealth from the middle class to the Corporate class and in no time we have fascism........see anything you recognize?

Critics of President Barack Obama (who also worked as a community organizer in Chicago prior to embarking on his political career) have often linked his name with that of Saul Alinsky, sometimes in ways that suggest the two men knew each other and/or worked together. However, they never met: Alinsky died of a heart attack in 1972, when Barack Obama was but a ten-year-old child living in Hawaii.

The above-quoted list of steps for "How to create a social state," circulated in January 2014, is another example of a political linking of the names of Saul Alinsky and Barack Obama. It's not something taken from the actual writings of Saul Alinsky, though, and to those familiar with his background it doesn't even sound like something he would have written (e.g., the line about "controlling health care" is anachronistic for his era, and the idea of "increasing the poverty level as high as possible" is the very antithesis of what Alinsky worked to achieve). This piece is simply a modern variant of the decades-old, apocryphal Communist Rules for Revolution piece which was originally passed along without attribution until Alinsky's name became attached to it (presumably because someone out there thought it sounded like something Alinsky might have written).

It ALL SOUNDS VERY FAMILIAR... Sumo, your post begs the question, "Did you know that you post amounts to nothing more than wingnut propaganda, OR do you just believe everything you read on the internet and just pass it on?

The rules as Alinsky wrote:

“Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have."
“Never go outside the expertise of your people.”
“Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.”
“Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”
“Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.”
“A good tactic is one your people enjoy.”
“A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.”
“Keep the pressure on. Never let up.”
“The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.”
"The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition."
“If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.”
“The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.”
“Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”
br “Power is not only what you have, but what the... (show quote)

I've noticed these rules are similar to Machiavelli's Prince... and are equally effective in business, tennis, chess and internet arguments.

Just a couple of quotes from alinsky

"A Marxist begins with his prime truth that all evils are caused by the exploitation of the proletariat by the capitalists. From this he logically proceeds to the revolution to end capitalism, then into the third stage of reorganization into a new social order of the dictatorship of the proletariat, and finally the last stage -- the political paradise of communism." p.10

"The tenth rule... is you do what you can with what you have and clothe it with moral garments.... It involves sifting the multiple factors which combine in creating the circumstances at any given time... Who, and how many will support the action?... If weapons are needed, then are appropriate d weapons available? Availability of means determines whether you will be underground or above ground; whether you will move quickly or slowly..." p.36

and obamas connection to alinsky

Seventeen years later, another young honor student was offered a job as an organizer in Chicago. By then, Alinsky had died, but a group of his disciples hired Barack Obama, a 23-year-old Columbia University graduate, to organize black residents on the South Side, while learning and applying Alinsky's philosophy of street-level democracy. The recruiter called the $13,000-a-year job "very romantic, until you do it."

So people don't like or agree with Alinsky. What does that have to do with spreading the the falsified quotes in that email hoax reprinted here, and making a specious connection between the falsified quotes, president Obama, and Socialism?

I guess dishonesty is justified if it is in the cause of fighting against dishonesty?

No, Mike, I don't think some are looking for truth and when it's pointed out to them, they refuse to recognize anything because it interferes with their bashing of the president. You know guys, if you show your lack of integrity just to diss someone else, it tells a lot about you. jmnsho

Saul Alinsky was a communist/community organizer; Bill Ayers is a terrorist both bent on destroying this country…..
and we have a group up there in power now that believe what these people said and wrote.
I do believe the current regime are a bunch of socialist/fascists or what ever term you want….they are ripping apart the republic.
The left's vision is not only a vision of the world, but also a vision of themselves, as superior beings pursuing superior ends
whether they are called socialists, marxist or fascists. so long as people buy the heady rhetoric from leftist, we are selling our birthright of freedom.

I got it from wikipedia...where both sides have input, and contentious issues are marked as such... what's your source for your post? http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_QXUCBPI4-uk/TNidRFDsduI/AAAAAAAAAc8/j6hdcfF2NGQ/s1600/WashingtonDC+114.JPG

I thought as much...

It works both ways as I just pointed out on another thread so I will use that as an example, The current liberal meme of "the republicans don't have a health care plan," when in fact if you just google republican health care plan you will find a whole list of them, the point here is harry reid would not allow any of them to be voted on, So your side goes its merry way believing that obamacare is the be all and end all, when in fact Paul Ryan offered a very workable which includes all the good parts of obamacare such as coverage for high risk and pre-existing conditions, tax credits which would allow pretty much anyone even those who are poor to buy their own insurance, and is not nearly as costly to this country as obamacare is. So what is the truth here? in fact obama was heavily influenced by followers of alinsky and if you read alinskys writings in any depth those rules posted here may be a bit of an oversimplification but basically are true, And I can actually say I have read some alinsky, can you say you have read any of the repubicans offered health care plans? so who is burying their head in the sand?

I could find both Republican and Democrat instances of this rule in action in virtually every political action... you are naive if you think both sides don't know the rules of class warfare.
