No wadding needed. But here's some reality.

It's also a shame that the person who perverted the Peanuts cartoon didn't realize that Charles Schulz funded liberal causes.

And I'm proud to be a liberal.
And I'm proud to be a liberal....

We definitely agree on that!  I missed the JFK at first. He's not the liberal in today's world. But neither party is what it once was. They seem to re-invent themselves occasionally. Their only interest is re-election and growing their net worth. The common folks be damned.

I was a staunch Democrat in 1963, today I make Rush Limbaugh look liberal and my politics haven't changed one iota.

What you meant is "That statement makes no sense at all to me". You'll find that it makes perfect sense to many others.

In bizarro world it may make sense. Elsewhere it's just crazy talk.

It certainly does, I feel the same way. My views have not changed since the 60's but the perception of my views has radically changed. Being married, to a woman, and raising a family was once the norm, now it is considered an "alternate" lifestyle.

I think your the odd man out ........

I agree with the statement. Sometimes 'evolving' isn't a good thing. No we are not talking about bigotry here, just that people as a whole have become much more liberal. JFK would not identify himself with the Democratic party today.

BTW, I'm not a Republican .........

Both parties have morphed, and not for the good I may add, very sad
