How many parents, though, are even going to find out when this happens?
Will there be more to this story? She said that she tried to pray again but the teacher(s) caught her again. Maybe it happen more than once.
Of course, the secular humanist will say that the parents are trying to corrupt this child's mind with religious dogma. And I say, why not.
What the hell would a 5 year old have to pray for. There are better things to discuss

To thank God for her food. It is, of course, the right of the parents to raise their children in the way in which they deem fit.
I'd like to know the rest of the story, when ever it happens.
Please keep us posted.

Ok, I know... lets talk about you. Do you pray? Do you thank God for the food that you eat? Are you a Christian? Been saved? Want to know how to be saved? Stick around and I'll tell you how Jesus can make you a better person.
Another one that does not know what is going on in our schools or what they are teaching our children.
My god helps those who help themselves. The only thing I need to be saved from are people like you who believe there way is the only way. A true Christian loves all, even those who don 't have similar beliefs. Leave we'll enough alone, you cannot save the world.

If he thinks that "God helps those who help themselves" then he is not a Christian either. I wonder how many people think that that line is in the Bible?
Steve, thanks for bringing the Liftbump.com website to our attention. There are a lot of great videos there.
I don't see where a child praying before lunch in a public school is establishing a religion. It is unconstitutional to deny her freedom of religion or freedom from it.
