Yesterday I saw this wild young Deer near a lake about 2 miles from where I live. The Deer was about 100-120 feet in distance and shot at 600mm.

Canon 6D - Tamron 150-600mm @ 600mm - 1/400 sec. - f/8 - ISO @ 1600.

Very nice Regis!! And very sharp. I am liking this lens.:) Now for the Nikon one to come out. That is a pretty big tail for such a little guy.

The young Deer was part of a small herd of 9 Deer and they all had these large fluffy tails.
Thank you, Erv, for your nice comment.

Good sharp image. Nicely done. I'm not sure if the pine branch he is standing in front of distracts or not. It certainly does not obscure the face, so I'd say it is just fine. Another very pleasing nature post. Thanks.

Lovely shot. It looks a little on the skinny side.

Thank you, jeanbug35. The Deer went through a harsh winter here and they are losing their Winter coat so they look a little bedraggled.

Thank you, Linda. This was one of the prettiest deer in a group of nine. They are all wild, so getting close to them wasn't easy.
