CMOS vs CCD

This is a recent article from PC World.
This is for anyone who's interested in what's inside
some cameras that make them better than others.
I think the true experts in the field may find this the
most interesting, but since I'm far from being an
expert, that may be a very wrong assumption.

read the article - thanks it was informative. In a nut shell CMOS is better because its faster and in our hurry up and do it yesterday world faster is better......and with this chip you can shoot 10 bad photos in the time it would take you to shoot 5 bad photos with a CCD chip.
