And that kind of thinking is exactly why there's a diminishing amount of money in the photography business.

Take a look at this and tell me it doesn't ring true:

no it's a diminishing amount of money in it because every one and his dog
got a camera , every thing gets less costly the more people that are in it . I have been to a wedding where there was a cheap point and shoot at every
table , for every two guest that were there ,.

the wedding photographer has done it to him self , priced himself right out of the market why should he , she make more in one week by shooting one wedding a week . that may have worked better when people were making a lot less money per hour . when I got married I was making a $1.00 a hour
that does sound like much . but that was about all any one working in a saw mill , lumber mill . cement plant , driving a truck , driving a fork lift . that was the going rate . now the photographer that shot our wedding cost $160.00
and I made $40 a week . and that was there going rate , they all wanted the same . and I had the choice of black or white , or color for $50 more, that would be over another weeks pay . I took the black . I got a albime with twelve 8x10 black and white prints . for $160 wow , he had a little store front
down town , where you could get a family photo for , only two days pay $16
in a cheep frame . they priced them selves out of the market starting fifty years ago

Sorry you think so little of people trying to make a living at this.

Wall-E, You can ignore those diatribes. Your antagonist has proven time and again how the "entitled" think. Anyone who works hard and produces an above-average product or service and then has the audacity to expect a profit is the enemy. And that applies to everyone, from the kid who wants to charge you to cut your grass properly to the fast-food joint that dares to charge you more than the bare cost of a burger, just because they have supplies to purchase, employees to pay (and never enough) and utilities and taxes to pay. People with jobs do one of two things. They either gripe because they're nor paid enough and want more for free, or they thank their lucky stars for the chance to work a little harder so they can provide more for their families without becoming hogs at the free feeding trough.

hog wash I don't mind people making a living . but I can't stand crooks , when they just out right rob you . and don't give me that crap about all the money they have invested . I know people in the trucking buesness that own there own truck ( or the bank does ) . they are working seven days a week just to keep the wolves away , trying to pay down there $150000 loan , there just waiting for a chance to reposese. they can hardly make enough to make payments . and fuel cost . and there not the only ones . then along comes mr wedding shooter with a used hasablad , a d3 a couple SD camera cards . some flashes , reflector , may be $30000 worth of equipment . but he can start with a lot less than , the truckers can start with a lot less , they can pick up a beater with 500thou miles on it for $30000 and another $40000 just to keep it going another year

Nanaval, many of us here are well schooled in USA copyright laws, and some international laws prevail. BUT the UK has an odd way of doing things and establishing an artist's rights may be one of those subjects where they get everything backward. I suggest you do some extensive investigation on-line.

Thank you Mogul for your help. I will look into it.
