Nice set, I really enjoy American History especially early American History and this is about as good as it gets.
Very enjoyable John...

Thank you, James. I'm fortunate living in New England. We're surrounded by so much history.

Excellent set John . This Winter in Plymouth is probably similar to what the Pilgrims experienced in their time.

Thank you, Profg. I'm glad you liked them. Winter must have been a real hardship for the Pilgrims.

Thank you, Pierre. I find a sense of peace there and think about the lives of those who came before us.

It seems sadder somehow in the cold of winter. Very pretty shots, John. I love anything having to do with history.

This is the first Pilgrim cemetery in Plymouth. It's one of those special places I photograph different times of the year. I submitted a few pictures last summer. Here are a few of my winter shots.

Thank you, Dixiegirl. I'm glad you liked them. Wherever I go in New England, I always look for the old cemeteries. Every town has at least one. I like to read the stones and think about the people who went before us.

You two, John and Donna, would love a very old cemetary I found on top of a mountain in Buckingham! There's a little AME church there, and this neat cemetary. I'll have to take pictures of it and post them.

As soon as the snow melts, John! Don't think I'd be able to get up there now.
