I don't have the Canon 70D I have the 60D. which camera do I like better that is a tough choice they are both excellent cameras. Nikon D7000 and Canon 60D both take excellent photos and fast AF. The Canon has a flip out screen that I like very much. The Nikon has a partially metal body. The Canon has 2MP more then the Nikon which isn't that much of a differents. I guess I would choose the D7000 because I think it is better build. I would like to see the Nikon with a flip out screen. you can get either camera on sale at B&H photo NY. for $699.00.

A good choice. Adorama listed the 22 best cameras for noise control and the 7000 was high on the list. Not a single Canon made the list.

when buying used camera bodies is there a way to tell how many times the shutter has been released. :!:

There is a free download called PIE (picture information extractor). I use it frequently and have had no problems with it. Just be aware to not click on any extra programs they may attach to it. Usually you can opt out on the other garbage that you don't want floating around on you computer. A lot of the free software programs do this to track your buying habits online.
