That is almost unbelievable, incredible, it amazes me that anyone can look at an obvious joke and note only take it seriously, but respond to such an obvious prank.

See how gullible some folks are? These folks vote for O'bummer and will vote for Hillary.

They see an obvious JOKE and immediately take it to heart and start slamming folks asking for a reputable source and the such. Each time I see that I immediately know this or that person is brain washed or the last time their brain was washed was with chlorine.

God please forgive me for seeing these people as threats to the American way....But ya, know - They are just so gullible and viewing the candy blinds them.

Absolutely anyone in either party would be a better candidate than Hillary Clinton (Well excluding Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reed and a few others).

There is no way a TP candidate could beat Hillary. They have zero appeal beyond the extreme right.

I'm not saying they could win against the democratic machine with it's freebies.... just saying they would be better, more qualified, more trustworthy than Clinton.

I really thought it was serious. As usual when you have nothing of any real substance to say Repubicans make up lies and expect them to be recognized as such? Really makes no sense to me.

If your looking for lies look to the white house.

My grandmother told me many years ago that for a person to spend untold effort and energy in castigating another (in this case for you the Tea party) only means that they either Want to be like them or so afraid of them that they can only use "Words" against them ..

I think you and others fit into those words of wisdom of long ago very nicely..

I guess you are in favor of government run healthcare. You say in your signature that republicans are idiots. I then can deduce that you favor single payer. If that is accurate I would like to point out some things. I spent a long career in cardio implant technology so I think I can speak with some knowledge on the subject. The following are just some of the devices that have not been developed in countries with single payer. Pacemakers-implantable defibrillators-Artifical Heart Valves- Heart Catheters- Heartbypass Pumps-Artifical Vascular Grafts-Fabric for heart defects=Clot Busting Meds- Statins for Cholesterol control-Meds for Blood Pressure Control and so many others in all fields medicine I could go on for several pages. None of these life saving items were developed in Canada' England'Any country in Europe, Aisia,SouthAmerica or anywhere but the United States. Why do you think that is? The US Government did not do it either. Private industry did. Why? Because there was a PROFIT in the development and sale of these items. In a single payer system the Gov't buys and sets the price for items across all of medical industry. Companies must survive, jn a single payer systen the prices are so artificailly low that there is far less money left for research. If you want to die earlier than you would have go for a Single Payer System. I for one do not.
I guess you are in favor of government run healthc... (show quote)

OK, I had written below saying that I didn't quite understand the questions.... but went back and read what I had said and understood a little better.... BUT What I wrote (see below) sort of (I believe) takes me out of either one...

I do not hate Obama, I DESPERATELY HATE What he is doing to the USA at this time..... I am 74 and have staggered through several Presidents of pretty much equal representation of Republicans and Democrats...
BUT I have never seen one who can match the one we have now.......A very small example... The interview with Bill O'Reilly where he (President) said ... "THERE IS NOT A SMIDGEN OF CORRUPTION IN THE IRS (I think it was the IRS) " now you are no doubt smart enough and honest enough to know that that was a bald faced lie and he knew it when he told it.....

I find that kind of stuff over and over again to be one of the most grating things I have ever had to contend with from a man who is running the Country...

BUT here is what I wrote originally...

I am not sure exactly what you are asking... BUT if you go back you will see that I often offer comments about a subject, including a companion URL..

You will also find that I Very Seldom START A crap tossing session, but am not afraid to speak my piece when accused or called names....

While I am yet to be convinced either way there is some very faulty logic in the poster's logic.

1. If the products coming out of R&D was solely marketed to America then there would be a case. They're not, they make at least as much profit, maybe even bigger margins selling abroad.
2. Other countries do make significant medical breakthroughs. Some of these, when you compare their populations are at least as proflific on pro rated basis.
3. The reason I have supported American healthcare over state systems for most of my life is because I believed profit would drive efficiency. I now discover through both the WHO and Blumberg statistics that America has amongst the worst healthcare of the developed countries at the highest cost per capita.

Something is badly broken in America. When profit is put above health the majority suffer.

So what's wrong with that? Profit drives technology, R&D, new products, and products that will benefit many. Companies are in business for one reason, they are not charitable organizations. I suspect, you like many others, have a 401K or retirement plan that's fairly heavily invested in these big drug companies...tell me you're not happy when you see those positive quarterly statements

Yes, Israel is one for sure

TBH, I don't think I'd believe anything from the WHO, and only believe what I've seen here over the years. Before Mr. Obama decided he was going to turn the whole industry upside down I think we can safely say that 80-90% of the US population had some form of medical coverage, and most covered were reasonably happy with it. The claim was that ~30 million people or about 10% were without coverage. It has also been stated by the CBO that they estimate to have close to that same number of uncovered individuals 10 years from now. (sure sounds like a net gain of 0) I believe a far simpler solution could have been put in place to cover those people in that group without turning the whole industry upside down. I believe a simple additional small amount tax taken out of worker's paychecks every pay period could have funded coverage for the 30 million people without coverage. Nobody likes additional taxes, but in retrospect to what we are going through now with the ACA, I'm sure most people would welcome it along with the real bonus of keeping what they had.
