I guess you are in favor of government run healthcare. You say in your signature that republicans are idiots. I then can deduce that you favor single payer. If that is accurate I would like to point out some things. I spent a long career in cardio implant technology so I think I can speak with some knowledge on the subject. The following are just some of the devices that have not been developed in countries with single payer. Pacemakers-implantable defibrillators-Artifical Heart Valves- Heart Catheters- Heartbypass Pumps-Artifical Vascular Grafts-Fabric for heart defects=Clot Busting Meds- Statins for Cholesterol control-Meds for Blood Pressure Control and so many others in all fields medicine I could go on for several pages. None of these life saving items were developed in Canada' England'Any country in Europe, Aisia,SouthAmerica or anywhere but the United States. Why do you think that is? The US Government did not do it either. Private industry did. Why? Because there was a PROFIT in the development and sale of these items. In a single payer system the Gov't buys and sets the price for items across all of medical industry. Companies must survive, jn a single payer systen the prices are so artificailly low that there is far less money left for research. If you want to die earlier than you would have go for a Single Payer System. I for one do not.

My guess is that you're on the supply side of health care devices...in other words a mercenary. The ACA only takes half of the profit...just half. If the CEO would take a half salary just think how much more profit the companies would have.
Single-payer is inevitable as is a 45% tax rate on incomes above one million per year. They powers behind both parties know this and its the greed-based Republicans that are causing all the issues.

Hmmm. Despite voting Republican all my life I have recently been swayed by my experiences living abroad. US Healthcare is ranked 37tt in the World by the WHO, behind, or well behind all the countries you mentioned. The theory is that once you start applying profit and loss to healthcare only the rich ultimately benefit.

I spent 33 years in healthcare and the above statement is very true. If you want to see research and development of medical technology, compounds, etc slow down greatly then the Single Payer System is for you. 8-)
I really thought it was serious. As usual when you have nothing of any real substance to say Repubicans make up lies and expect them to be recognized as such? Really makes no sense to me.
I guess your living in Maryland and close proximity to D.C. has affected your perception of reality.
Very funny Sarge. I can see why they would need a colonoscopy. I rate her an anal ostrich. Defination - one who goes through life with their head up their ass and wonder why life looks so shitty.
That is funny. I had not heard the term anal ostrich before but I like it. It fits with so many things.
See how gullible some folks are? These folks vote for O'bummer and will vote for Hillary.
They see an obvious JOKE and immediately take it to heart God please forgive me for seeing these people as threats to and start slamming folks asking for a reputable source and the such. Each time I see that I immediately know this or that person is brain washed or the last time their brain was washed was with chlorine. the American way....But ya, know - They are just so gullible and viewing the candy blinds them.

You got it Sarge. This is food for thought for those who don't get it but then they may never get it but keep trying.

From another healthcare professional, I concur!!!
