Carolina Wings Loc: Flew from North Carolina to Pennsylvania
 
The weather calls for cold and snow...and now to keep the snow off my lens and to keep it from fogging up is a challenge I've never faced before. Poor birds...b-r-r-r...some of them look as cold as I feel :cry:

What a beautiful mixed series, they all look puffed up to ward off the cold :thumbup:

Great set Jan, and the do have their feathers puffed to stay warm.

Well done, Jan! These are what I see everyday and I tend to forget how beautiful and sweet they are. I find myself amazed looking at the "more exotic" birds of the other regions of North America as well as India,Australia, NZ, UK and your photos (portraits) are a good reminder of what is in my back yard.

Thank you Sylvias...glad you liked them...there certainly is a good mix in this area :-D They are certainly puffed up from the cold...I'm just puffed up from all the layers I have on...and I'm still cold ;-)
