Ponds... Lets see all those beautiful ponds.
These were taken near Woodsfield, Ohio. There are so many ponds out in the country. You can't help but snap a couple of shots of them. :-D
Great topic Trish. Love the beautiful "greens" I think I have two "pond shots" That aren't too embarrassing.

Here are a couple from back in October. Alloway Twp, Salem County NJ.
well, officially, it's "Lake" Boren, but since it's no more than a couple of hundred yards in any dimension, and nowhere more than about 15 feet deep, i'm calling it a pond...
Little Tipsoo "Lake" is less than a hundred yards across, and about 3 feet deep, so it classifies as a pond in my book, but it sure makes a nice foreground...
Picture "Lake" is like Little Tipsoo - a kids' slingshot would easily reach the far shore - but what a "prop" for photos!

All three of those are really nice Squirl033! I see I need to get back out to Washington state. When I was out there last I was shooting film! :) Usually Fujichrome 50.
Keep up the good shots Squirl033.

Just north of Santa Barbara, California, is Lake Los Carneros. At only about a mile in circumference, it would more properly be called a pond.
It's one of my favorite places to to take my camera.
3Dean, those look like great places for photographing waterfowl and migratory birds...
