How about Acorn???

They are still in the budget!

Absolutely NOT TRUE!!! Republicans continue to pass bills symbolically defunding an organization that no longer exists. There is not a single penny going to ACORN. Stop listening to your right wing noise machines and get the facts.

That is not quite true, the organization is still around google Affordable Housing Centers of America, they have splintered as they also operate under different names so they are not as well organized, but it is the same people doing the same work as before.

Apparently you don't watch Fox News-- they regularly feature well placed spokespersons with opposing views and provide ample opportunities for them to express and discuss their viewpoints and opinions, as well as lively discussions and debates. It's just not quite the same with MSNBC, et all, on the other side of the issue. One need only to tune into the NBC evening news- much less ABC- to see how one-sided "news" can be. And then there's Rachel Maddow.... need I say more?

Actually, I think that the network news tries to show balance in its reporting.

I'm absoluitely sure that the worse yellow journalism reporting comes out of CNN -- more so than MSNBC. However, I place MSNBC at a very close second place to CNN or even sharing the position with that POS 24-hr reporting channel.

Indeed, and WNBC etc.. stopped reporting on political events years ago. Today they only make biased political comments.

The only reporting today are the small events, traffic accidents, fires, snow plowing etc. Anything with political overtones get twisted.

You always advocate to check facts !!!

ACORN affiliated groups

As part of the effort by some chapters to stay afloat by severing ties with the national organization, members and staff of California ACORN founded a new organization, the Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment,[8] New York ACORN members and staff founded New York Communities for Change,[10] and an offshoot of the ACORN organization called Acorn Housing changed its name to Affordable Housing Centers of America[114] yet has retained the same tax and employee identification numbers that it held under its former name.[115]

Totally agree. RM appears to be a fairly bright women who could actually contribute some meaningful reporting if she were capable of overcoming her biases. I find most of her rants difficult to deal with.

Is Rachel M uninformed? Maybe dis-honest?

What do you think?

I think she's very informed on everything , this is why she can be dis-honest ,and try to hide the truth , after all she's working for MSNBC !!!

I watch MSNBC Every Night, without fail.

It has a liberal bias; I have a liberal bias. Fine with me.

They tend to bust Republicans, which is fine with me. I should hope they would attack them more. There is no hope for this country until the Republican party has evolved to something radically different than what it is now.

Still, the honesty of MSNBC is Greatly superior to Fox news, which is an irresponsible disaster.

No thinking person pays the slightest attention to Fox News! Period.

If any Fox viewer cares to respond, watch Rachel, then report what she got wrong.

I'm waiting to see if anyone has any Responsible criticism [though I know, no one will bother].

I NEVER watch news on any platform except MSNBC, and I'm satisfied.

Live with it.

I guess in a world of hate radio and Fox News, where people never have to hear differing views, comments like this are to be expected (although strange for a photo website!!). But still I find the comment to be disturbing. I respected Barry Goldwater, but he was wrong when he stated that extremism in defense of liberty is not a vice. Extremism, from the right or the left, is always wrong.

the japs thought the nuclear bomb was a bit on the extreme side..that was in the defense of liberty..do you agree with them??? I don't..

We all know you and Rachel make a great team of mis-fits.

MSMBC is a den of vipers.
You and they relish your position of derriere kissers for Oblame-O.

According to you, They are the light, the truth, the American way.

They are the "GROUP THINK" capital of the airways.

By the way, let's not forget that apologist Chris Matthews.

I know, he too, gives you a shiver up your leg. That's not a shiver, that's urine running down his and your leg.

You really should widen your scope for ingesting knowledge, instead of the same old "plausible deniability PAP" !

You really deserve each other, the blind hater leading another blind hater.

You are both maggots on the bottom of the garbage can of thinking abilities.

In other words, you both stink!
