Back in July 1944 Hitler had been led to lament, I am beginning to doubt weather the German people is worthy of my great ideals, now in the ruins of Berlin, his despair was complete. On April 29 he married his mistress and made his will. Next day he blew his brains out. After Hitler killed himself, Germans on longer felt bound by an oath of allegiance to a madman. As their world came crumbling down around them, they began looking for a way to end the futile fight. The Politicians we have in Washington D.C. and the madman we have I feel our country is crumbling down we the people of the U.S.A. We better began looking for a way to end on what is going on in Washington D.C.

The dissolution of Citizens United would be a start.

Maybe if someone provided a copy of Mein Kampf, along with a gun and some bullets...

I guess in a world of hate radio and Fox News, where people never have to hear differing views, comments like this are to be expected (although strange for a photo website!!). But still I find the comment to be disturbing. I respected Barry Goldwater, but he was wrong when he stated that extremism in defense of liberty is not a vice. Extremism, from the right or the left, is always wrong.

Mr Henry Clay, aka, the Great Compromiser, is lauded for his Anti-Slavery efforts and beliefs, did not practice extermism, and consequently the evils of slavery expanded and continued regardless of his efforts. Mr Abraham Lincoln, and his administration, practiced exteremism in defense of liberty, and slavery ended.

Just 2 examples in support of Mr Berry Goldwater's statement. Would love to here an example or 2 support your statement.

Apparently you don't watch Fox News-- they regularly feature well placed spokespersons with opposing views and provide ample opportunities for them to express and discuss their viewpoints and opinions, as well as lively discussions and debates. It's just not quite the same with MSNBC, et all, on the other side of the issue. One need only to tune into the NBC evening news- much less ABC- to see how one-sided "news" can be. And then there's Rachel Maddow.... need I say more?

Is Rachel M uninformed? Maybe dis-honest?

What do you think?

You sure? Resting without presenting evidence to support your perspective invariably will result in an unfavorable jury decision. Then again, trying to argue in support of an unwinnable argument is probably nothing more than a waste of time...

Her reporting is definitely influenced by her bias... She could were she interested dig up twice as much dung on the dems as she does the republicans.... but she is just not too interested in getting out all the news and events that percolate up through the sewer that is DC.

I feel I must comment on your extremism in refusing to use conversation to support your radical use of platitudes. Are you lazy, inarticulate, or fearful of open discussion?

I doubt if you will reply, but your silence speaks volumes on your character.

loujenn, forgive me, after due consideration, your decision to remain silent is most likely the correct decision.

Better to remain silent and have people think you a fool than to open your mouth and prove them right.
