I enjoy both hobbies to the fullest and I pack a concealed weapon as a result of a legal permit. I have visited Liverpool as well as other cities in England and I have read in the papers a healthy amount of crimes committed in your cities as well. You have gangs, mobs, a huge problem with immigrants without papers, especially Muslims. I think you have enough problems of your own to start a thread mingling on the affairs of others across the Atlantic ocean. Why you worry about crimes in your country instead of criticizing our system. Stay where you are, mind your own business and stop posting such nonsense. I sincerely hope that you have better things to do like buying a better lock for your home, protect your windows and make sure that when you are in need of a fast police response, you and your loved ones can get it. In the meantime, stick to your hobby and we here in America many citizens like me will stick to both hobbies....Cameras and guns.

According to statistics, 32 people were murdered in the US on that day, 23 of these by firearm of some sorts, , and there were 3,180 violent crimes, 230 rapes. This heinous example is the one the "anti gun nuts" will use to leave the other 39 murder victims and the 3180 violent crime victims utterly defenseless. They don't care about the rest...... just the one example.

Richie, unfortunately when politics get in the middle, unsavory things happen as a result. It is sad to see how a nutcase can dominate the press for days while other important news take a back sit. This is the age we live on. What bothers me is people that don't live in our country making statements that we are killing each other due to our system like if we were at war. Every country have their own nut cases and they use different type of weapons to commit homicide but that is far from killing each other.
I agree with your statements above and I am sure that you are willing to continue to live in this great country in spite of what's happening. I just can't keep my mouth shut when criticized by people that don'even live here and all they do is read their tabloids distorting the truth.
