I don't care rope for this reason...the wife might just tie me up to the tree, take the camera and get all the good shots.

I'm sure she would not do that! You've got a good wife. She drives you around to take all your photos!

You are so right...she's a sweetie. She was the one to suggest we get out today.

Another beauty, James! Love the flowing water with all the action here. Would make a nice picture puzzle. Well done!

Another bit of luck in timing Linda...it has rained the past 1-1/2 days non-stop, so the river is really up. Sure added to the shot.

Well now this is really going to freak everyone out. This place is also a very popular swimming hole. Up stream the water is much more calm. So there you go...a nice puzzle or a nice place to take a dip.

Folks, here are the remains of Walter Hill Hydroelectric dam. Built in the early 1900's. There is not a lot of information that I can find on this place. I happened to catch it when the east fork of the Stones River (seen here) is really raging. We had a lot of rain lately, so the water is really up and moving.

Beautiful capture James, you can really feel the turbulence of the water

Yes, we had a bit of a heat wave yesterday, I think it reached 50. Brought a lot of rain with it; and the snow is almost gone. Yea!! But I hear there's another artic vortex coming but won't be as bad as the last one.
