Hi I am looking to get a 1 of 3 cameras either the CANON 1D MK IV or Canon 5D MKIII or Canon 7D MK II. My question is has anyone bought from OverstockedDigital.com???? It shows with a 1YR USA Warranty on all cameras.

overstocked DIGITAL is not listed as an authorized Canon dealer, Overstocked.com is. I would stay away.

They have the 7D M II already on sale? I don't think Canon has announced that one yet.

I didn't find "overstockEDdigital.com" but did find "overstockdigital.com" which has an excellent rating on resellerratings.com:

http://www.resellerratings.com/store/overstockdigital

I suggest checking if "1 year USA warranty" is the camera manufacturer's USA warranty or a 3rd party warranty prior to purchase

according to canonrumors.com the ratings on resellerratings are fakes and posted by overstockdigital, if you look at other review sites it is not as favorable.

I don't get warm and fuzzies when looking at their prices as they are at or below wholesale and below the prices set by Canon USA for authorized resellers.

The hassel isn't worth the few bucks saved.....B & H and Adorama are the go to venders IMO.

http://www.overstock.com/ is a good site, but the "digital" version is not.

I use reseller ratings a lot and now your telling me they are suspect. Could you shoot me a list of some of the other review sites? Thanks, Mike

They do sell you cameras with a one year "STORE" warranty, but good luck in getting service, its definitely NOT a Canon warranty. The biggest issue you will face in buying from them is that all the accessories, including the battery and charger, will be removed from the box forcing you to buy them separately if you need them. They are as big a waste of time as Ryther and Big Value and Best Buy Digital and all the other rip-off and bait-and-switch sites on the internet. Stay away or you will end up paying a LOT more than buying USA warranted gear from an authorized reseller in the US.

Unfortunately resellerratings.com is an open site, that allows rip-off retailers to upload as many favorable "reviews" as they have the spare time for. All they have to do is create a fake poster profile for each one. Many of these crooked sites do that all the time. It can make any rating suspect, you really need to read all the BAD ratings and notice the same issues and claims being made by REAL people who have been ripped-off by these sites.

Generally these kind of sites let you place your order online for a lowball price and a CSR calls you back to upsell and to add other ridiculously priced accessories. which end up costing you more in the long run than from buying from a reputable place. In many cases, if you don't fall for their gimmicks they cancel the order. Best stick with known names.

This is not really a concern because they will call the buyer many times, offering "really good prices" on those so-called accessories.
