Hi Melvin, thanks so much. I am fortunate to have them nearly in my backyard: Route 821 from Yakima to Ellensburg, the Yakima River Scenic Byway. Last winter as many as 25 eagles were around and there was one active nest I followed from birth to lift-off last summer. Always lots of bighorn sheep and deer, turkeys and more! Here is more info:

Thanks tk. I didn't really notice how different they are 'til this year. I was going to try to find out if you can determine age by the patterns. I know when a couple of youngsters fledged last summer they were all brown.
