I need cruise photo blog help.
My wife and I are taking a cruise in the Caribbean over Christmas this year. I have just setup a photoblog site and would like to update my blog post during the cruise. Does anyone have suggestions on what is more feasible . . . Update the same blog post with info and photos on a daily basis, or start a new post every day? I guess I want to know what would be easier for readers to read?
A blog is a series of posts so you answered your own question.
Ti make it daily is always a good idea at first then it becomes a constraint so, adapt to your vacation and do not make doing that an impediment to your vacation enjoyment.
As to what is 'easier to read', THAT is up to you.
Sa për atë që është "më e lehtë për të lexuar ', QE është deri te ju.
Over wat 'makkelijker te lezen', DAT is aan jou.
Raws li mus dab tsi yog 'yooj yim nyeem', UAS yog mus txog rau koj.
Select what is easier to read...
Good luck and enjoy your cruise.

I read your first sentence and couldn't go any further. It is cold here and I just keep staring at the word Caribbean.
I never post anything until I get home. I don't want strangers to know when I am away.
I understand. Very wise comment for our times. Thank you.
Is this your first cruise? It can get pricy to use the ships wifi to update daily. Many people had sticker shock at the end of the cruise. There are those who don't care about cost, just connections. If you can hold off till you get to shore, you might find a free wifi location to update.
Just trying to be helpful.
I am using my blog to share trip photos with my children. That's why I wanted to send them a play-by-play of my trip.
Thank you. This will be our 21st cruise, so we get some perks, including WiFi. The shore suggestion is, however a good one for sure. I would rather update continuously so I don't forget. I have a good memory, but it tends to be short at times!

PhotoRichard,
How do you plan on writing your cruising blog?
Laptop, pencil, note pad?
What software will you use to write the blog? Insert images? Upload files?
If you plan on using a laptop with a universal power supply be sure you have all your tools loaded and tested before departure.
Create your blog entries one day at a time, save each day in a different folder on the laptop.
When you get home, begin your blog updates one day at a time. (Here you can insert updated comments, and reply to members of the blog on a daily basis.)
Even if the cruise lines provide free wi/fi, you may not always have a good connection. Why risk the stress on a vacation.
There will be plenty of time to write while at sea, and more than likely plenty of time while exploring the islands you visit.
Make life easy on yourself, it is your vacation.

You may have a problem with internet access and this may influence your decision. Some ships have very high rates for using their Wi-Fi- onboard. Check on this before you go.

The daily update sounds good.

Good comment!! Also, why post using up VAC time. Do it at home when you have more time & you can relive your VAC.
