Of course. LOL. But you are right. I would also, if i had an old wood fence, like to hang the holster with the weapon in it on the fence. with a pair of boots and a lariat and hat. I think that would look great….But, LOL, i don't have a wood fence or a lariat.
Rich

I agree. Or a leather saddle hanging on the fence post...
Wouldn't it be great to have a "props" rental? :-)

Hi

The problem is, and it is indisputable, more and more Americans are killed and being killed by gun owners, in fact only last week again more shootings

I accept and appreciate what you are saying, it is in fact too late for the USA to change, what a state to be in.

JR I normally back your arguments but on this you are drastically wrong on two counts.

First this is the photography section not Chit Chat. The OP published a good photo and that is all that should be discussed.

Second there are very few Americans killed by legal gun owners. In fact over 90% of all of our gun deaths are committed in cities that have either banned firearms or have extremely strict laws. Just like England our criminals could give a crap about the law.

Hi Doddy,
don't get involved with the US gun lobby, they are highly motivated about gun ownership and you will never win.
So let's shoot photographs and let US gun owners shoot each other until the whole lot no longer exist.
Cheers
John

As they say in England "and what a right twat you are". The OP published a photo. Since when is it right to denigrate the subject of a photo?

Someone accidentally published a Chat subject in this area last week and you people where beyond rude in telling him this is for Photos. Now a guy publishes a photo and your going beyond rude criticizing the subject of the photo.

Lets see some pics of your favorite firearms.

Not my favorite but my first hand gun. Purchased in 1963 for $85.00. Shot high/right so I had a local gunsmith replace the front and rear sights. Carried it in Vietnam in 1965. Grips were added few years ago. Still have the original grips.

Notice the holster wear on the slide. Serial numbers match including the mag.

Barrel is quite worn and won't hold a nice grouping but still is fun to pop a few caps.

Manufacture: E Jercito Argentino Sist. Colt Cal. 11.25mm (.45) Mod. 1927

Say that again instead of "help" when you need the rest of the world to save you - again.
Do you say that about the folks in Canada who more armed than lots of folks in the USA.

Back to your welfare line JR1 - you make me sick.

This is a good example of why you are called subjects instead of citizens.

Well...here's my two cents. Unfortunately we live in an imperfect world (at this time) and so I see guns and weaponry in general as one means for the individual to protect their family, property, freedoms (from tyrranical government), and others as need and circumstances dictate. I wish it were not so, but as long as there is evil people in the world who wish to take what isn't theirs then there will be a need to defend against that.
To think otherwise is certainly anyone's right but methinks very naive...
