I have always recommended "The Photographers Eye" by Michael Freeman.
It is brilliant on this subject.
And just a couple of days ago I bought a follow up book to the original, not just another edition, a complete follow up.
This is brilliant as well and I heartliy recommend both.
The new one is called .... ummm... don't know ..... I will check when I am home later and let you know.

Actually I have this copy of "The Photographer's Eye" and also "The Photographers Mind" which I also enjoyed. Reading about it and doing it is a process and I'm using Hedgehog to help me through it. I very much appreciate your input. Let me know if you find the title of his followup book.
