mortonfarm, I'm having the same problem, I'm told they are too big (too many pixels)have to learn to resize. Great pics of grasshoppers, I hear they are very tasty covered in chocolate but that's true of just about everything.

stina, yours looks to be the same color as the leaf. Makes me wonder if they change color like cameleons.

Yeah..I understand that they are a delicasy (sp?) in some countries...all I gotta say is that I guess I would loose a mighty amount of wt on the hopper diet...arrrgh! I have an abundance of subjects when I am in the mood to photo them...they aren't shy around my place...!

Well...I have been trying for several days to get a hopper pic to post...Not to be outdone I am going to persevere till it works...soooo..that said...here is my addition the Hopper family (hopefully) !He is a teeny tiny crtter perched on one frond of pepper corns on my texas pepper tree...His head reminded me of a horse...!
