This is a great image. However, I think you have several pictures in here, and "la gorda" is only part of the problem. I made no adjustments, I only cropped. In the original, the two light areas compete for attention, not allowing your eye to rest on a center of interest. In the vertical version, I kept the sunbeam and small stream, but minimized the "burning bush". If the bush is your focus, I cropped for that in the second version. My only manip was to crop.

Good fix, and simple too. Both are very nice!

If you will be using photoshop to remove her, please detail all the steps, detail by detail, tool by tool, defining words like layers, masks, curves, etc. which mean nothing to me. As I am starting to learn about Photoshop, doing this would help me. I really like this image but obviously, she ruins it. Thanks.

Greg

Very nice work (and no women were injured during the production of this image).

It looks like this was taken with a wide angle lens. Learn how to take pictures first. Trying to repair pictures is a waste of time. Do not expect someone to tell you step by step how to use photoshop. It is not easy. You should have purchased Elements first and mastered that. If you do not purchases some books on Photoshop and takes some classes, you will have wasted a considerable amount money just to say you have PS.

I used the clone tool in Photoshop Elements 12 only.

I simply used the "distort" tool (edit, transform, distort) in PS 7.0 to pull the right side of the picture to the right. Fantastic shot, by the way!

I am not verse with moving objects from photos but recently I came across a video by Gavin Hoey from Adorama on Youtube where he use tools such as Spot Removal, Clone etc to move blades of glass from a photo.
Here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX-XZYp1oiE, see 10:00.

Hope it helps!
